Job Description

Act as focus of marketing support activities for the office.  May also support the marketing activities for outlying offices.

Roles And Responsibilities

With minimal supervision and moderate to heavy decision-making:

  • Interact with Project Managers and Regional Marketing Coordinators to develop and implement programs that support the goals of their marketing plans.
  • Lead, create and produce statements of qualifications, proposals, client presentations and brochures.
  • Reviews lead tracking services on a daily basis for business prospects. Assist in tracking and follow up on identified leads and preparing necessary RFP/RFQ request documents.
  • Responsible for customizing resumes and project descriptions for proposals; keeping resumes updated.
  • Update Website as needed and collaborating with management.
  • Organize; coordinate events, tradeshows, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate Client Feedback program.
  • Coordinate promotional items and client gifts.
  • Be able to travel as required, both domestically and internationally.
  • Meet all utilization goals as determined by Business Development Manager or supervisor.
  • Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures.
  • Support and encourage continuous improvement of the company's processes, including safety program and quality management system.
  • Communicate tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Come to work regularly and on time.
  • Execute work duties in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Maintain organized and clean work area.
  • Work well while under supervision.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work while under stress and perform other duties as assigned.


  • Possess current driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Possess or be able to obtain valid passport.
  • Computer literate.  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and other communications software. Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Must be efficient and productive.
  • Produce high quality and accurate materials; must have published articles, reports, announcements, or advertising.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of the Web.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to work reliably within deadlines. Ability to work well independently and with others with a teamwork orientation

Physical Qualifications:

  • Performs moderate work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations required; Master's degree in similar discipline preferred.  Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 2-10 years' experience in marketing for an AEC firm is required. Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing and competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
