The Operations Support person will assist supervisors, managers and coordinators in day-to-day coordination and management of offshore operational activities; maintains up-to-date project and personnel schedules; schedules field and subcontractor travel; liaise between customer and management to ensure smooth operations delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists managers and supervisors in day-to-day coordination and management of offshore operational activities. Coordinates and manages project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines. Coordinates logistics for crew changes, including but not limited to transportation, hotel accommodations, and airfare.  Maintains/Coordinates all field staff and office staff Passport/VISA information. Maintains personnel safety training information and informs supervisors of training required for staff. Updates and maintains crew matrix records and license records for ITAR equipment. Arranges journey management plans for staff. Provides back up relief for receptionist for main office upon request. Attends operations meetings upon request. Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Performs other duties or completes special projects as assigned.

Associate's degree in Business Administration or equivalent from two-year College; one year of related experience preferred, but not required.  Or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to operate the following:  word processing and spreadsheet software Microsoft Word and Excel; internet software such as Internet Explorer.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
