The Recruitment Specialist plays an integral role in leading recruiting efforts for the Fugro US-based Land organization. Acting as a talent adviser, this role will develop relationships with hiring managers across multiple business units, be proactive in the recruiting process and anticipate position and talent needs. The Recruitment Specialist will participate in leading the recruiting and candidate selection process.

Please note this is a 12- month temporary onsite role. Local candidates only please. No relocation assistance provided. This position is Benefits eligible!

Essential Functions:

  1. Fill open positions with qualified candidates in a timely and efficient manner
  2. Develop candidate pipelines for positions with higher turnover rates and for positions for which there is an anticipated need
  3. Conduct telephone interviews with qualified candidates to assess fit and skill set
  4. Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews for candidates to meet with hiring managers; reserve appropriate meeting spaces, provide timely instructions, and ensure that both the hiring manager and the candidate are fully informed
  5. Identify, propose, develop and/or implement new talent attracting initiatives
  6. Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  7. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training
  8. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company, client and position
  9. Be able to travel as required, both domestically and internationally
  10. Work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, identify and resolve problems
  11. Complete all assigned work in an accurate, thorough and timely manner demonstrating a sound understanding of areas of responsibility
  12. Ability to attend work regularly and on-time

Education/Experience Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred and/or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of progressive sourcing and/or Technical recruiting experience.
    • Experience in recruiting Geotechnical, Surveying, or related disciplines is a plus
    • Experience utilizing internet search techniques (ie. Boolean, Flip, XRAY)
    • Strong customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results while working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
    • Effective organization skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Flexible and creative with a positive, high-energy attitude.
    • Strong understanding of applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Ability to quickly learn and master new software programs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
